You been back 5 mins and already you're telling someone they are on crack for what they think an exhaust sounds like
And your cheering section, cheers. Well not me, and if that gets me banned again that so be it.
I think it's a cultural thing.
Where I'm from that's not an insult but more of a term of inderment. For instance, I took my 4 year old son to see Iron Man 3, after the movie he asks "Is Iron man stronger than you dad" I respond "Hell NO!! you on crack boy?"

Fair enough. However, I don't talk down to people, I'm crude and opinionated, but on a public forum that can hardly be seen as bullying. I apologize to the OP if he felt my 'crack comment' was out of line. I also apologize for the total thread-jack.
I guess we did kinda jack OP's thread SO To make up for it... OP I have a GINTANI sport and meisterschaft GT rear sections laying around. If you want to try either one you can borrow for a couple weeks and see what you think.
These are much louder than stock but both sound Fukin epic and will make you jizzzz your pants and make your neighbors worship you

I don't like the sound of the Evo either, I find it too boomy on the bottom with no particularly great payoff on the top end. On the other hand how exactly you get vacuum cleaner out of that sound eludes me? lol

At any rate the OP may want to consider the M performance exhaust.

All this vacuum cleaner talk got me thinking about how pretentious those Dyson commercials used to be. The dude would talk like he invented some engineering marvel but at the end of the day its just a damn vacuum.

OP- You're also talking 2 opposite ends of the spectrum. OEM mod is like $200-$300, Akra is $crazy$ expensive. It's too bad Encore Innovation isn't still around, you'd be lucky to find one used like I did. Best sounding exhaust I've ever heard. Dinan sounds good but don't forget 2 of those pipes are fake- If that matters to you. For V8 growl the two I would most recommend would be Gintani or Borla ATAK.

Apology accepted.

This thread was definitely going places before your remark.

I've got a Dinan & Turner cat delete.. and while being crack free.. I think it sounds the biz.

Now.. to the pressing matter at hand. Who's got some crack ..you know, for comparisons sake??

Thank you! I'm so glad someone else agrees that the Akra Evo doesn't sound good.

Agreed. In no way does it sound like a vacuum cleaner....at any speed or at any RPM. While I don't have the EVO, I have the Akra slip with a fully catless X. I was driving to work this morning just cruising like I normally do at between 3,000 and 4,000 RPM and couldn't help think it sounded just like when I was swarmed by bees a while ago.

Bees swarming...not a vacuum. Bees have more bass. A vacuum is a bit more high pitched. Bees sound better

Yea I much prefer the nice bassy gurgle v8 sound, more like the sound of a big American v8. Dunno its just what I prefer, don't like the high pitched screaming sound.. like nails on chalk board.

Been looking at exhausts for awhile and im just about set on getting M performance unless I run across something that strikes my fancy better.
