It isn't a Vortech kit it sounds like though. It is a tuner's kit utilizing a universal Vortech centrifugal supercharger which means $$$.

Funny how as soon as Active Autowerke released a preview of their supercharger, there's seemingly been a flood of companies revealing supercharger projects... not wanting to be left out of the discussion.

So... which company is actually close to market on a well researched and tested product?

ESS, VF and G power all have done BMW SC'r kits, and have planned well in advance to do a kit on the E9X. I believe ESS posted a dyno before AA made their teaser video. AA usually is very quick to the market with performance upgrades for BMW's, so this is no suprise that they seem to be set to release their kit in the near future, however I'm not sure if that's true, but like everyone else here, I'm anxious to see what they do.

Is it Wicked Motorsports? They are on Van Nuys, but they are famous for building some of the world's fastest B5 S4's.
