Also, for those who were wondering. Paul's car competes in the Street class, while the Mini is in the Unlimited class. Paul is on street tires, while the Mini is on slicks. The Mini runs a 10 second 1/4 mile! FAST!
Thanks guys! -Dustin |

Car goes through a bunch of development through out the season and the Bio's are not updated on RTA.
The mini is definitely way faster than the supercharged M3.. regardless, it was an amazing time this weekend and I really hope the car makes podium the next time it is out.. We should kick the 240sx out of the race and put 3 BMWs on podium - street tire class is just getting more and more ridiculous |

Well that mini probably has more money, time & labor poured into it compared to the m3...
the mini is a full on time attack (ex-drag) race car.. the m3 is just going through development and it's the first season racing and the first time out this weekend with a supercharger.. |

I was there a few weeks ago and Jon (owner) was there and mentioned he did a custom tuned suspension for them but didn't see anything on the car. I dropped off my stock suspension for them to take measurements from. They want to make a line of coils for our car. All the way up to a 4 way adjustable system.

Ive worked on that mini and have driven it a few times. Its a 2876 Turbo, if you look up the specs of that turbo you will see what max power it makes. I guess it just depends on what dyno, ive seen dynos vary up to 100hp on the same car on the same day.

That is one VERY well sorted out Mini Cooper. Especially to run those kinds of laps and from the looks of it, super stable. Of course I'd rather drive the M and it sounds absolutely Sublime. But Im impressed...
