Good to know that Paul's is for real & not just a poser!

Now I can re-watch those Fast & Furious movies with a whole new perspective

Keep it up Paul...

The car is running our stage 2 kit @ 7.5 psi and is tuned for 100 octane, making a very reliable 512 WHP on a AWD Dyno Dynamics. This is a perfect set up for the track. After the suspension is dialed in we could turn up the boost and add some meth. We are very happy that we got the chance to put our kit on this car and are hoping to enter another car in the red line time attack very soon. Congrats to AE and Paul.

Alex
quick question, how come you guys didnt bump it up to a stage 3? not ideal for the track?

Also, for those who were wondering. Paul's car competes in the Street class, while the Mini is in the Unlimited class. Paul is on street tires, while the Mini is on slicks. The Mini runs a 10 second 1/4 mile! FAST!

Thanks guys!

If you go to the driver's bio's on Redline Time Attack, it actually says the car makes 450hp and 450tq, and the mini is a 1.6lt turbo. That thing must be nasty in a 2,000lb car.

Car goes through a bunch of development through out the season and the Bio's are not updated on RTA.

The mini is definitely way faster than the supercharged M3.. regardless, it was an amazing time this weekend and I really hope the car makes podium the next time it is out..

We should kick the 240sx out of the race and put 3 BMWs on podium - street tire class is just getting more and more ridiculous

One would expect speed an power from an M3, but a 650 PS makes a Mini a very very mean car. Thanks for the post.

Well that mini probably has more money, time & labor poured into it compared to the m3...

the mini is a full on time attack (ex-drag) race car.. the m3 is just going through development and it's the first season racing and the first time out this weekend with a supercharger..

I don't know how AEP or Mr. Walker feel about the Cross coils, but the Cross guys are looking for a sticker on the car, or some achnowledgment of their company since it was a sponsored suspension.

I was there a few weeks ago and Jon (owner) was there and mentioned he did a custom tuned suspension for them but didn't see anything on the car.
I dropped off my stock suspension for them to take measurements from. They want to make a line of coils for our car. All the way up to a 4 way adjustable system.

Jon did make us the adapters for the cross coils to fit onto the M3, and we are very appreciative. We provided the Cross coilovers which we had already purchased for the 335i application.

Overall, we are very happy with the suspension setup and it has given us good results.

Regards,

-Dustin

Ive worked on that mini and have driven it a few times. Its a 2876 Turbo, if you look up the specs of that turbo you will see what max power it makes. I guess it just depends on what dyno, ive seen dynos vary up to 100hp on the same car on the same day.

That is one VERY well sorted out Mini Cooper. Especially to run those kinds of laps and from the looks of it, super stable. Of course I'd rather drive the M and it sounds absolutely Sublime. But Im impressed...
