So this is basically a pair of sport mufflers? How exactly have they been modified? Or have they not been touched at all?

The remus sport and eisenmann sport are the exact same loudness as OEM only they offer a deeper tone to their sound. Decibal level wise exactly the same. So if you are looking for a louder exhaust probably not for you. However if your looking for an exhaust with great looking tips and a deeper note than OEM, I think this is perfect. I was almost going to pull the trigger but ended up ordering the new ACP oem muffler mod

its not exactly modified, but i was going to retro these to fit on my lexus SC, turns out the muffler section is just SO fat the SC cant find room for this without the muffler dangling, so the bracket was cut, but now re-welded back on.

and thank you Ateam for the reference of loudness =) i cant give an definition of the exhaust note sense i never installed the item =)
