But check how your policy is written. Insurance is a game of managing risk. They assess how likely will need to pay out on a claim for your car based on specific behaviors. Pleasure could specifically exclude to/from work, or it could be just "to be driven under 7500 miles a year", etc.

Worthless is in the mind of the beholder, and as such the mind. Funny thing about the net, it puts a pre-conceived notion even in your mind that makes you think that you are actually intelligent.

Sorry to hear that... Sounds uncomfortable. I think you would fit in great with the X1 crowd, they seem to have the same problem.

Now imagine how much cheaper your insurance would of been if your car was NOT a ZCP...... Not quite sure why you HAD to mention what is costs to insure a ZCP.

I apologize for bringing this thread back to life as I noticed some of you were not enjoying the experience. I just got a quote for full coverage (pleasure car) and $500 deductible in so cal for $1000 a year (multiple car discount, etc, etc).
For those of you with full coverage, how are you getting a cheaper rate than that? Is it location? Is it mileage driven per year? Is it the status of the car? Please enlighten me so I can save some money too. Thanks in advance. |
