That's the first time I've really looked at the COTA layout, that should be a wicked course. Plus, its on the side of a really big hill so I think there will be some significant elevation changes. But I never get a good look since I'm always flying down TX-130.

I drove the roads around the track Saturday on our way home to Katy. Really can’t see anything from the ground except the turn 11 stands or the turn 1 corner which looks absolutely awesome. It really has a lot of elevation that can’t be seen in a fly by.
From your photo I can see they still have about half of the stands to erect and the GA areas look unfinished but you can see the new $200/pass parking lots. |

I don't see the issue. Just take a helicopter there and then you don't have to pay for $200 parking.
