ZCP Wheels vs. Style 220" 19"
Looks aside, are the normal style 220 19" wheels better than the new ones offered on the Competition Package? I understand the new ones are cast vs. the forged 220 style.
Are the cast much lighter weight? Why else would they offer a lesser quality wheel on an upgrade package? |

Dont make the assumption that Forged > Cast in all cases. |

I have no idea, I am sure LMB probably has the details. I dont own either wheels so cant comment. My guess would be cost does come into play, but strength and durability of the design may be a factor as well.
I have heard really good things about the quality of the 220's and I am sure BMW doesnt want customers to view this is a downgrade so there must be a method to their madness. |

I'm mainly trying to decide if I should go for the performance package. I'm fond of the 220 19" wheels but the way I have the car configured, it is only $550 more to get the performance package.

I would just go for the performance package and be done with it. You can always pick up a set of 19's in the for sale section down the road. But keep the 359's, they will come in handy when the time comes to sell.
