Tires for super cheap
I don't usually post stuff like this but it's a great deal and I'm using it to stock up on tires
 Curry's Auto which has shops all around NoVA, DC, MD is selling tires for just $10 over cost. So you're basically getting the tires at around the same price that manufacturers sell them to dealers. This deal is only through Febuary. Just send an E-mail to mike@currysauto.com, tell him what you're looking for and he'll tell you the price. Also mention that you heard about it from John Althouse. (This might get me a discount  lol but probably not) Also: I'm getting information together for a Skyline Run WV post, look for that soon

i can vouch for them as well, got 8 tires for 2 landrover sc, and snow tires for my x5m, m3 in the past 2 months. great service

thanks john...i'm taking my car in to mike/curry's tomorrow...got a great deal on a set of oem 19" ps2s...will post back tomorrow about the actual install/service experience...

You can save even more on top of that by being a BMWCCA member (or say you are). I think it's another 5-10% off. AND if you get the Currys Auto points card, you might be able to talk them into using it for even more off! Can't beat that.
BTW, the deal has been extended through Febuary.

just to close the loop on this, the mounting/balancing of my new wheels/tires went off flawlessly on friday...hugh and the crew in the shop were highly professional, friendly, and knowledgeable...i didn't get any of the other discounts that darkstarzero mentions above, but the deal on the tires plus great service was more than enough to make me a very satisfied customer...i highly recommend curry's to anyone that needs wheel/tire related services (can't speak to any other services)...
