Order Placed for E92 M3 ZCP for Euro Delivery..........Big Thanks to Johnny!!!!

Well, I never thought I would say this but I placed an order for a 2011 E92 M3 from BMW Bellevue mainly thanks to Johnny. He hooked me up w/ Alvin. Alvin quickly entered my order into the system and I am scheduled for a Munich Welt delivery on April 29th.

In the past I had nothing but horrible experience with BMW Bellevue as they would not even talk about placing a Euro Delivery order. Alvin is very easy to work with and he knows what he is talking about. I was on the fence between DCT or 6M and he had no problem letting me test a DCT car off the lot before I made my choice.

I highly recommend Alvin to locals. Please contact me or Johnny if you want to get in touch with Alvin. He is a supporter of the community and had no problem matching the best deal I had which was from Hahn.

Now the wait begins for the next Euro Delivery....... :-)

Yeah, Johnny and Alvin are both great guys!

The Euro Delivery is SO much fun. Make sure you go on the plant tour, it was one of the highlights of my trip. Visiting the Mercedes museum was also phenominal.

I cant wait to go back!

Im so excite for so many M in the area now, haha. Buddy, the price btw you and Ted would be different, b/c Ted is doing ED. It would be cheaper through that way.

Not sure about the deal now, but I remember back to the time. BMW Manufacutre dealership offered you pay one ticket and you will get a second one for FREE.

So, did you get DCT or 6MT? I have always been a 6MT guy, but after driving the DCT I had to get it. I also have an AW E92 ZCP, but no euro delivery. I should have my car end of April/beginning of May

if i were to do it, i'd take euro delivery, drive around until my 1200mile break-in was over (400miles/day for 3 days), get the 1200 mile service and then head to the autobahn and to nurburgring for a day or two. that would be so sick.

yeah it would be a blast. the worst part of taking european delivery is that you would have to ship your car back to the states and that would probably take at least a month.

how much did you save by doing a euro delivery vs a regular delivery?
but keep in mind, you wouldn't be paying msrp for the vehicle, so I would like to know the true savings... thanks!

Thank You. This is my 2nd ED so I have done all the fun stuff before. I have not done the MB museum which is #1 on my list this time.

May be we will see each other in Munich. We almost have identical cars.

Lufthansa still does that but you can get better deals elsewhere. Volvo is the only manufacturer that I know of who will give you 2 tickets for free with their overseas delivery program.

6M. I hated the DCT...... Sorry DCT guys....

That's sounds like a good idea. But last time I did ED, I only drove the car 70 miles before dropping it off.

BMW takes care of all shipping details and it takes 8 weeks for west coast deliveries. So you have to be a patient person if you want to do ED. But it is really fun to track your car back to State side.

I paid Euro Invoice plus a small dealer fee. If you do the math the savings is around 13% compared to US MSRP..... Overall, I am pretty happy with the price I paid.

Wait is the worst part of this whole thing.... But all the mods (which will be very minor stuff) will be here by the time car arrives.

And memories of the October 2006 delivery of my 335i..... I've ordered this car without even seeing one in person in Aug 2006.

Hoping to have a similar story for the M3.....
