Have your shop loosened the strut bar and pushed the struts all the way inward ? |

make sure the plate with 3 studs is not bent and you can move the stut all the way in and out ... also make sure the strut is all the way inward on the strut bar brace side ... you can loosen 2 13mm nuts to move it

Quick update on this. Had the suspension installed on Wednesday. We got the ride heights about where we want them, but the car will need to be corner balanced to really dial it in. Did an alignment anyway since I'll be at the track on Monday. Running -2.8 camber front and -1.8 rear, zero toe up front and 1/16" toe in at the rear. Bump and rebound are at the settings James@BW suggests for track.
My only impressions are based on my drive home from the shop - I'm travelling now and won't drive the car again until I head to the track on Monday morning. But my quick reaction is that this is a very capable setup. Even at track settings, the car is reasonably comfortable on the street. Definitely stiff, but handles big bumps and road imperfections with no drama - absorbs the shock and is ready for the next one. Drove a couple of familiar highway exchanges and was very impressed with how planted and level the car stays. There's no brake dive. Steering inputs feel much sharper. I'll be playing with settings at the track on Monday and see how things go.

It's great to see more great feedback from these dampers.
I can't wait to see how these compare to Motion Control's new dampers coming out as well.

I love mine, on soft setting its more comfortable and softer than stock and Im pretty slammed, and even hitting big bumps I have never hit the bump stops.
Ive had KW CS, TC Kline D/A and Moton/AST before, JRZ are by far my favorite. |

http://vimeo.com/user3800046 Those are some serious shocks with great tunability especially in the RAIN. I was running these with full slicks and could adjust the balance (if the rears were heat cycling out and would lose out on grip) with my shocks. A HUGE plus. In the rain, instead of disconnecting the swaybars like most guys do, I was able to turn the wick down on both compression and rebound for a great experience (no issues with putting the power down). Having run KW (only the Comp ones are worthy of comparison to these), Konis, Bilsteins on GT4 Aston, Radicals etc. I can definately say these are world class shocks and you can tune these with 1-2 clicks (PS: my experience was with the RS and noticed the difference especially when removing excess rebound). Thanks James. Last edited by lutfy; 08-15-2012 at 01:55 PM.. |

Yes, you can use them as a true coilover over a sleeve or use a fixed height spring.

No, its a threaded collar, just as other coilovers use.
