Replacement of front bumper for e92 m3

Hi everyone, I am new to the forum. However my first post is about a tragedy

Here's what happened, my car got hit and run while I borrowed it to my roommate. However, there's already a small dent at the middle part before this happened, and a friend of mine who works at a body shop told me that the insurance company are not gonna compensate for me, because the bumper shows clearly that these 2 dents are made from different hit. He suggested me to look for used OEM bumper, which is a more cost-friendly way, however I have been looking for a few weeks but I still couldn't find any.

I would like to have some suggestions on the front bumper. Should I stick with the OEM one, or do you guys have any recommendations from the aftermarket ones?

Thanks in advance!

Ind makes a euro version with no side reflectors. It’s a beauty. Also I think they will paint and ship which makes it nice and easy.

Is your fender bracket okay? Usually when the bumper rips from a side the fender bracket will go along with it

Thanks for that! It is the cheapest oem so far among all I have seen. But I have still not yet decided whether to get an OEM one or an aftermarket one, like the 1M-style front bumper, and the price of them are similar.

Yes, it has loosen. Cuz the fender seems making an angle with the bumper now. It is still useable or do I need to get another one?

Take a pic of the fender bracket area, I'll let you know if it can be saved

I gotta laugh that you believe this to be a tragedy.

Are you trying to tighten/loosen the screws holding the bumper to the fender on the backet? Easiest way it to jack car up, remove wheel and loosen the fender liner. The liner can be pulled back and it'll have he entire underside of the fender area exposed
