Hesitation

Is it a common problem for the M3 to hesitate before acceleration when from a stop or slowing down? It does not happen all the time.

Thanks

DCT im guessing? Yes. The clutch isnt like an automatic. It steps out of gear if im correct into N even tho it shows 1 or D1. (at complete stop it doesnt move if u notice).

I dont know much technical specs so i'll let the rest speak on it...

If you are driving a DCT (as it sounds like), you should get your dealer to update the software, as the latest version virtually eliminates the hesitation that you're experiencing.

I got DCT and I only get a little hesitation when im driving it on Automatic D. specially when going from a complete stop of slowing down.

but as soon as i hit S1 and start changing gears manually. i got not hesitation at all.

did you try comparing it between D and S mode ?
