4 options for License plate frames (US cars)

Which one do you like best / would put on you car.

I’m really bored and tired of waiting for my car… Just thought I’d share a few license plate frame options for US plates as I kill time. .

1. Real CF- I think it may go well with JB or IB. May also go well with lighter color cars that have the CF grills, front spoiler, rear diffusers etc. I don’t think it would look that good on an SSII if it lacks other CF parts.

2. LED- It is kind of geeky. But could be fun. You can store 5 messages up to 120 characters each. Might be a good way to piss other people of with messages like, “To bad you car is slow POS, better luck next time” or “ I’m not going to race your POS ricer- go away” or “try to keep up” or “AMG LOL” or hey, you could even be positive and give compliments- “Nice ride congrats” to a passing 911 / gtr etc
Or better yet, when you have a cute girl behind you “You are hot, call me @ 1-800-big-c0ck

3. BMW ///M Logo frame. Unoriginal may cause badge overload
4. Painted to match car color. Creates a visual illusion that “shrinks the License Plate.

I’m leaning for 3 or 4, 2 seems tacky but could be fun until it get stolen and 1 may grow on me but I'm not sure how it would look on ssII

I like #3 the "unoriginal" one

I have the CF ones and I love them. Neat and looks great on the white. The thick part covers up the state name so only the numbers show. I like that. Not sure why but I do. Cant go wrong. Please, do not put an electronic plate frame on your M3. I believe that automatically gets you kicked off the forum. I believe its a Bylaw somewhere!

Found these plates, they look high quality, hide all screws and have a safety feature to prevent plate theft, which supposedly is on the rise by people who steal you plates, pump and steal gas in thier car with your plates and then ditch the plates.

They even have a Real CF frame.

I have 3 and will get rid of them; looking for an alternative. Badge overload.

I like the black frame, very clean. Too bad the CF frame is 2x2.

None as well. Stainless steel with gloss black paint. Available at your friendly local BMW stealer part shop. Clean, minimal, durable.

You could also just go for regular chrome. Might look good with clean tailpipes.

None. I don't think frames add anything.

I had #3 on my e46 and kept them and will put them on my e92 i think the chrome looks classy, and a nice frame really compliments the ugly license plate , it will also distract the cops from running your plate ..jk
lots of people delete the
chrome and want to blk out evrything . im going keep the chrome
accent look , keep the original chrome grills and the shark fins and add the braket in chrome with my chome lips with black face , i thing thats it for the chrome other then the tips of my exhaust ....dont want to overdo it haha

I have a chrome M3 plate on front and back. If I didnt have a white car, I would have gone with black....still looks sweet.
