style 219 gunmetal paint code

Does anybody knows where I can get the paint code or even get the paint to respray my style 219 wheels?

They came in two colors: a silver and gunmetal. Which are you looking for?

For the gunmetal, space gray works well enough for touching up minor curb rash and dings, but I wouldn't use it to respray a whole wheel.

There was some discussion on this board that the 219's are painted in a unique process that doesn't lend itself to reproduction outside the factory, but I have no idea how true that is.

Thread title is specifying for Gunmetal finish, they only recently started coming in the silver finish. IIRC on the 2010 MY??

Interesting... I haven't taken that close of a look at them before, would be curious to know what they are doing

You're right, I missed the title. Though I believe the 219Ms came in silver in Europe for several years before USDM cars switched from the gunmetal.

I didn't know that, I thought they were standard gunmetal for everyone.

You might be right. It's been a while since I paid attention to the Style 260M/219M.

In the E90post said

"This is for the standard silver wheels, not the new black or gunmetal ones."

I'm pretty sure you're looking for the gunmetal one and not the silver one.
