How much should I pay for this M3?

I promised myself I wouldn't make one of these threads, yet here I am anyway. Carfax looks good, one owner, seems reasonably well equipped. I was thinking $38k, that seems fair for both sides.

An offer of $38k seems fair to me. Just tell the dealership to have the blasted engine bay detailed first though; mother of god, it looks like my kids just had a field day in there.

If you are willing to pay $38k I would start lower than that. Maybe offer $36k and go from there.
