I understand you completely, the price on these is high but again, their camber plates are just a work of art, very well built and hold up very well when beaten, something to consider if tracking the car. I wanna say TC Klines were designed trying to get the most out of your stock shocks on the track without going with a full coilover set up. KWs are more of a street set up that probably works "ok" on the track, no choice of springs and no camber plates. IIRC the TC Klines are easy to upgrade to a full coilover set up if you decide to go that route later. Ground Control also has a very good kit that's considerably cheaper than TC K.

I'm sure the camber plates and springs could be reused if you moved to coilovers. Being able to lower the CG is important with the adjustable ride height.

$400 for springs
$400 for camber plates
$200 for height adjusters
$100 for sway bar collars.

Yep, not sure what the remaining $300 is for.

Give it time and it will disappear. Reminds me when ESS was charging a premium for the Arka vs. HFC ECU tune.

You're math is just a little off......

This is cut/pasted directly from our website (I've added individual pricing for your convenience below):

Including the following components:

* TC Kline Camber / Caster Adjustable Plates - $495
* 4 Springs in your choice of rates - $389.20
* 2 Spring hats for front springs - $76.40
* 2 Shock shaft sleeves - $6.30
* 2 TC Kline Custom Sway Bar Mounts - $119.90
* 2 Front Coil-over sleeves with spring perches - $170.00
* 2 TC Kline Rear Spring height adjusters - $139.00
* 2 TC Kline Delrin Rear Spring centering spacers $20.40

Total - $1416.20

Kit sells for $1372.....so it's $44.20 less than each part being sold seperatley

Here is where our kit differs from some of the others out there.

1) Our kit comes with camber plates, where other kits do not include camber plates. This is a huge factor when you are taking your M to the track. Not only do you get better performance, you save your tires from unnecessary wear due to lack of camber.

2) Our TC Kline camber plates reduces the stack height, and therefore offers the benefit of an extra 1/2 inch of compression travel compared to the stock mounts. I don't know about you, but I will take an extra 1/2 inch of compression travel anytime I'm on the track. The other major benefit is the additional caster angle that you are able to achieve over the stock configuration. Caster angle has a couple of benefits - 1) Increasing high speed braking stability 2) Giving greater camber angles as you turn the wheel. So as you turn into a corner, the camber angle improves for optimum grip and turn-in response.

3) Our springs are a linear, lightweight, high tensile, VVS Alloy spring. The springs are lighter with thinner coils, which also allows for more compression travel because the spring will not bind as easily as some of the thicker springs on the market. Linear spring rates will give you more precise control vs. some others with progressive rates.

We could build an EDC kit that is made cheaper, but that would not be synonymous with our TC Kline name. We strive to build the best products on the market, because you spend alot of money for your M3 and most folks want the best products for their car, so they can use it to their full potential. We use the highest quality material when building our products, and therefore, production costs are not as cheap as competitors products may be. It is not our goal to be the cheapest product on the market, but put products on the market that are of the highest value.

Again, we use all of these products on our cars and spend countless hours testing them before they are released for the consumer. The consumers have asked for this kit and we have supplied, what we feel is, the best on the market.

I hope this has addressed some of your questions and concerns about our kit.

This is the same car we used to develop our EDC kit, which now has our double adjustables. I have personally driven this car, and it is absolutely amazing with the DA's on there.

The EDC can 'handle' those rates, but they are not optimal for the fastest way around the track or the most comfortable on the street.

Again, for those of you who want to retain your EDC, this is a great kit.....but if you are spending alot of time at the track, our DA's proved to be much quicker than our EDC kit (as it should be).
What do you think is the best spring rate for an E93?

I'm guessing this is mainly street driven, so probably 400/700. Couple hundred pounds heavier and more chassis flex.....

TCK...thank you for that breakdown. It's helpful to get this kind of interaction with a manufacturer. I have your DA's on my coupe!

Are you going to supply this kit with your latest camber plate design?

Your welcome. No, these will come with our first design camber plates, that give you camber and caster adjustments.

Can you please comment on any additional NVH with this kit vs stock. Also, can you post some basic guidance and recommendations on spring rate suggestions for your kit based on performance, sport and comfort driving.

I see the Front options are 300#-#650 in #50 increments and the rears come in #600 & #700.

Looking back at my emails from February I see that the price has come down a bit. I was originally quoted $1435.30.

How about half street half track?

I meant something more on the line of slightly stiffer than street, but not full track

There may be a little bit of harshness in the front, because you are going from 180# OEM front spring to our recommended 400# front spring. The rears would go from 550# OEM > 600#. Due to the fact that the shock cannot handle anymore spring, the most we recommend is 400 front and 600 rear.

I see the Front options are 300#-#650 in #50 increments and the rears come in #600 & #700.
I will update the website to correlate with our recommendations.

Ground control also makes a very good kit and similar to the TC Kline kit. Choice of springs and very good camber plates included. All for a bit less than $1k. Not bad considering GC has a lot of experience building suspensions. Not sure if TC Kline includes sway bar links with their kits but GC does. Very good package deal.

TCK, i think i am going to go with this set up.
A few questions. For e92 m3 EDC, what spring rate do you recomend front/rear, also how much -camber front/rear would be optimal for the track?
Thanks

Sorry, just saw this.

350-400 for the front and 600 for the rear.

All BMW's want -3.5 front -2.0 rear camber. So, as much as you can with stock strut hats. Or the settings above with camber plates (and as much caster as you can run).
