Where to get a used M3 inspected near Sherman Oaks, CA

I'm close to purchasing a used M3 that's in Sherman Oaks, CA. I live over 1000 miles away so would like to get an independent inspection done. The car is at an independant used car dealer. Would it be a good idea to take it to the nearest BMW dealer for an inspection? Anyone from the LA area care to recommend somewhere to get it inspected. I could really use some suggestions.

Center BMW is in Sherman Oaks area

I personally go to Bob Smith BMW in Calabasas as I know the SA over there

I think a PPI is $200?

Are you going to fly out here just to inspect it?

No I'm doing this long distance so I need someone to do the inspection for me. I want to find somewhere to get it inspected then have the dealership drop it off for the inspection after I make the arrangements.

I could help you out............ I mean I'd feel bad charging but time is money....
Would the selling dealership even allow me to take the car? Never done this sort of thing

I'm taking my Z4 in for service on the 18th so I can ask my SA how much they charge for PPI

I think I'd get the selling dealership to take the car to the BMW dealership.

Thank you. I'll put both places in google maps and see how far. If it's close I don't see how the selling dealership will be able to object to it.

Well one thing though... if the selling dealer takes it there... they can easily have the dealer side with them.

Either by tipping the SA, the Tech, or the manager.

I have seen it done before with Mercedes

A friend of mine worked at Beverly Hills Merc, Keys Merc in Van Nuys, Calabasas Merc, and it happened regularly.
