You are going to find much cheaper M3's than that. BMW Northwest has them for like 65k with the current discounts.
Why don't you test drive all of them and see which one you like more?

Why post such a question on the Internet for other people to discuss their own opinion on each, especially as most won't have driven all of them.
This is only something which you can make your mind up about and once you have driven each I think the decision will be easier to make on which to buy. Good Luck. |

The M because I currently drive a P car and a Mercedes. But like others have said, if one doesn't particularly move you over the others - then don't buy one. Save the money.

lol i forgot i posted this. My intention was too see if anyone had driven them and what they thought. Anyways, since this post i have gone out and tested the c63 and the m3 so far. I'd have to say i like the m3 much more and especially with the new idrive. Im still contemplating on the 997 s however because i have not driven it before. although I have been eyeing one at the local dealership for about 2 months now. Anyways im not planning on buying the car until summer though so i still have time to decide.
heres the link for the 997 http://www.parkplaceltd.com/inventor...rent=1&size=50 |

I find the 997S overrated in terms of performance, roadholding(it CERTAINLY is not a GT3)and practicality. And WAY too expensive in terms of thrills.
Last year I wanted to buy one and testdrove one. So M3, C63, 997S 997 GT3 is a different league and I 'd choose that one in a heartbeat. |

I've driven many Porsche's and MB's and Bimmers... Right now I'd choose the M3 then the 997 then the C63. I agree with Robin Hood though.. if it was a GT3 or even.. ohhh.. an RS.. the choice would be much simpler. However, I'm not so insanely impressed with the base 997. It's a great car but a little overrated I think. So I'd much rather be in the M3.

Hard choice but maybe this will help you decide: Around the track the M3 prevails...

If I've never driven (or owned) any of the cars... I'd want a 911 first, Merc 2nd, and BMW last.... actually, that's exactly the order I bought all my cars.

I must have seen that video a hundred times. It's what made me decide on the M3 and my brother-in-law on the C63. He likes going sideways.
