Dang, that’s a steal based on current BAT auction prices - especially for 2013 MY manual transmission.

Okay. If you say so. Some are but many are not. Look at the BAT market snapshot price versus year chart.

Just as pure fact, with no opinion -- if you filter to E92 Comp 6-Speed, here are the 4 most recent transactions:

Exactly. And 3 of those are 2011 whereas the O.P.’s car is a 2013. Thanks for the objective fact based posting.

A car is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it. The 61k single owner comp with 29k miles is the car i bought. Mind you, I had many options of a new toy to pick up given the price point and decided that this was an example i prefer to keep forever, thus not mind paying a premium. The car listed above has an accident and therefore I feel it is overpriced. ---- Bmw911, why would anyone trust your opinion on anything without factual evidence to back up credibility?

Not sure why the comparison to BAT. They need over 100+ pictures from a professional photographer and their fee. While some of their cars are collector grade, the less desirable never meet reserve. This has an accident and just another dealer trying to flip.

Also - Sponsor classifieds are here.

Hi, we welcome the conversation/debate, but just to clarify -- the comparison was only because BaT was brought up in previous comments.

There are many normal auction sites coming to the market (and there are enough cars to go around). As avid car collectors and members of the car community and auctions, we created a new way to combat all the "is it still available" and low-ball offers -- without being a normal auction where you have to bid against other people and be at your computer at the end. DriveDown is a buy-now marketplace where you can buy now at any time at the price you feel comfortable with. As a buyer, you don't have to be at your computer at a certain time and bid against other people, and as a seller you don't need 2+ people "in the room" in those final 2 minutes -- you just need the 1 person that values it at the given amount.

At the end of the day, a dealership (or any sales company in general) would never show you their product and then say "by the way, you can't buy it today, you need to wait 7 days... and then you need to fight against other people at 3:35pm next Tuesday". DriveDown fixes all of this.

Quick comment about the dealership flipping, or auction sites and DriveDown charging a the 5% Buyer's Fee. These are services -- no one likes to work for free!

(also it wasn't an accident, it was road debris that he had repainted (stated in listing), but went through insurance so it shows on the carfax -- most people don't go through insurance and it doesn't show on carfax and is usually hid/undisclosed)

Keep in mind while calculating valuation, this car has a accident on the carfax. Most of the BAT comps posted are clean carfax's
