your thought on this deal?

hi guys, been a lurker for quite some time and i gotta say i am so jealous with all of you that already owned an M3 yet also admire you at the same time. now i have a chance to get my own dream car. please let me know if you think this is a good deal or not.

2012 E92 M3 with 6MT, comp package, premium package, carbon fiber roof, leather seat with cloth in the middle, but NO premium sound
used but only 5k miles, clean car with clean title, no accident at all. 1 owner and he bought it in May 2012 but can't afford it

the guy said lowest he could sell to me is 62.5k. plus tax and license it will be around 67.4k

all inputs appreciated. thanks all in advance!!!

ps: oh, will it regret it if it has no premium sound? lol. im not an audiophile or anything... and sorry if i need to do more search. lol. i did look around in market place and saw some similar deal. just not sure if it's a good deal or not

I assume it's used. What was the original MSRP? Current mileage? Any accidents? How many previous owners? Maintenance history?

What is the mileage?

As far as prem sound..... I ordered my car without it after listening to both systems..... Like you I am not an audio freak or anything.

My previous car did not have premium sound, my new one does. There's a BIG difference.

I am an audio file and while the PS isn't the best out there but it's much better than stock. There are times that I wish it was better, stronger mids and lows, but I try to remind myself that as I get older having a good sound system will only lead to a hearing aid at some point in the future.

thats not bad for a 2012 with only 5k miles. however you could find an older one for a lot less. these cars are built extremely well, require little maintenance and haven't had any major issues overall. i have a 2008 that i drive spirited with 48k miles and it still drives like its fresh out the gate and on crack and all ive had to do is give it oil changes. these cars are badass and reliable. go for a 2009+ with 20-30k miles. nothing major changed between 2009 and 2012. you could prob lock one up for $45-50k and still have 1 year left on the warranty. then you could extend the warranty later for another $2-5k depending on how long you plan on keeping the car for and you would be saving yourself about $20k overall. you can thank me later

That doesn't seem like a good deal to me.

While the Premium Sound is better, it is not worth it IMO. Also, it is much easier to upgrade the Hi-Fi system than it is to upgrade the Premium system. For ~$700 you can make the Hi-Fi system sound better than the Premium system.
