Silicone wiper blades - should i beleive the hype

I would be surprised if the OEM blades were not made of some silicone or similar type of substrate. I don't believe it's rubber like old school blades.

I'm still on the original set of wiper blades that came with my M3 over 6 years ago!

PIAA silicon blades won't fit the M3. I just found this out minutes ago.
