In love all over again...
I've had my '11 JZB E90 ZCP 6MT for just under 2 months. For those two months I knew I had the right car, I've never once thought about what car I'd get after this. Which is something I've done for all the cars I've owned. I've never had a chance to drive this car on a country side/mountain roads before... Until today!!
A couple of weeks ago a found a stretch of country side road that were full of 's' turns followed by up and down hill straight will a bunch of tight 'c' curves. So today, I had a legit reason to take the 'M'.... Wow, I knew I had a great car, but I didn't know I had THIS great a car. Keeping the revs past 5k and not letting it drop is intoxicating. What lack of torque?!?! I've never felt so confident and so in control of a car going that fast before. This car was doing everything I wanted it to do. I've never really understood what people say when a car connects the driver to the road. I know what it means now!!! With the 335is it was fun in a manic 'oh sh!t' did I just do that kinda way. Where as the 'M' is more... 'Yes I just did that and I'll do it again' way! Who cares about exhaust note when you have an engine capable of creating an orchestra!!! This car is definitely a keeper!!!! |

The cool thing is, he's the same age now as I was when I fell in love with the M3 (11 yrs old)... So as far as I'm concerned, I've at least done this right... Hahaha |

Time and time again, this car continues to surprise you when you least expect. Just goes to show how much untouched potential there is in the car, and the next iteration is already upon us. I don't think anyone really extracts the true potential of a model as we're quick to upgrade. That won't be happening with me. This is definitely a keeper.
