ESS with E85?

For us supercharged fellows is there anyway for us to run E85? I would love to see what gains this could do. I'm sure Roman or someone will chime in on this. This would make me

I think first you would have to upgrade the fuel pump to supply the volume e85 demands then play with a tune. The 600whp s/c kits are pretty close to over running the stock fuel flow capabilities.

Thanks for the input! NVM haha. I thought maybe just a simple tune could do the trick. I assume someone will go down that road sometime soon if it's possible.

It would be great with a E85 kit , mostly for the 91octan areas where good gas is hard to find.
I will mount my ESS VT 625 kit on my new car in a couple of weeks, and the first airfield event will be in mid May, this time with Buggati veyron , Koenigsegg ccx and a GTR Alfa 13+, and more.
Some extra whp would be great, then i might have a chanse to at least se them....

Adam you'd need a bigger pump(s), it's not as easy as it might seem.

I was anticipating a couple pumps and having to replace the injectors. I'm not sure why people are so hesitant to tune the S65 for E85. I can understand being cautious, but with a good, careful tuner and the right setup, this shouldn't be a problem.

I put a couple of gallons of E85 in the F10 M5 just for fun. Didn't notice much.. The car knocks on stock software with 91 octane. Please California.. give me 93!!!

Move to TX *lol*

Our gasoline contains 10% ethanol, so it is pretty much 1.5 gallons, give or take, anyway. I've always wondered what would happen if I 50/50 mix 93 w/E85 on a regular basis and then got a custom tune by BPM. E85 is readily available here.

I'm running 11-12mpg now city and 19.5 highway on my VF620. I couldn't imagine throwing E85 at that. It would be at like 8.

I've ran 50/50 mix on me 335i, went from 353rwhp to 407rwhp, E85 allowed me to run 3 psi more boost, and allowed me to run a more aggressive ignition timing curve.

Even a 50/50 mix goes a long way , I would love to see something like this, even on an N/A car, but I understand that the non-DI system is different than the 335i DI system, where it can maximize the cooling effects of ethanol.
