Here are some quick snaps I took towards the end of the day with the advanced group out. The SLS was a nice eye candy for sure. I didn't get a snap of the engine bay when the hood was open unfortunately.

Duncan won the award for drift of the day (with Mitzi on board!).. I'm sure not for the first time!

It was my first time out with the group - for all the other potential trackers, it's definitely worth taking your car out. The event was well organized and lots of instructors available to assist with ample track time.

Great Pics Gary and Martin!

It was a great day for sure and the SLS was sure nice to look at and listen too. Even nicer to chase down and pass. Too bad Dee didnt make it out, could have used the AMG's as a moving chicanes............

WOW! Scary how that tire wall on the left juts in very close to the track right where you made your final correction.

Seriously great save, but for a moment i thought you clipped something on the track..I heard a loud bang...maybe it was just distortion.

I think it was a part of Jay's body tightening up on his seat

Hmmm, not sure what you heard. I didnt hit anything, maybe Riaan clipped a cone??

If was fun to play around with Riaan and Gearhead on the track. I followed Riaan earlier in the day and had a blast, unfortunately though he didnt have the camera in the car (nor did I - forgot to pull it out, it was a busy day instructing as well)
