I just spoke with my dealer today - he said my car should be to them by Tuesday or Wednesday, up here in Northern CA. I think it's a definite possibility that you'll take delivery before Thanksgiving. I'm trying not to get my hopes up, but it's hard not to. Fingers crossed!

Hey Guys...I have been lurking this forum because I have a car on the Porgy too and have been obsessively tracking it the last few weeks. Thanks for posting the pics and info...it's been helping me get through the days of waiting... Here's what I am waiting for:
2011 328i Sparkling Graphite M Sport Oyster/Dakota Premium Nav I figure I would register and say HI! |

I am hoping so. I hope there is not a long turnaround time between the cars getting off-loaded and put on a truck to go to dealer. My dealer is located in the Thousand Oaks area.
I love that saddle brown leather and congrats on yours! |

Edit: Now explaining to the family why you need to put a couple of hundred miles on the car on Thanksgiving day, that may be difficult to explain...

hope the vpc is open on saturday...
http://www.m3post.com/vpc/index.asp.htm "The VDC was up and running even though it was Saturday. Our tour guide, Eric, stated that they normally worked 7AM to 4PM M-F, but worked Saturdays when there was high demand for "Priority One" vehicles (Priority One is a car that is already sold)"

But yeah, that would be nice Also - keep in mind, that article was written in 2004. The other one I've seen was 2006. Things have changed in terms of efficiency and speed since then I'm sure. |
