Which Is Louder: Remus Race Or Gintani Race
looking at numerous remus race videos, it seems pretty loud very high pitched compared to others like eisenmann & supersprint.
but will eisenmann connecting pipe w/ remus race be on par or slightly louder then the gintani race w/ connecting pipe? eisenmann connecting pipe w/ remus race is no doubt louder then eisenmann race & supersprint race both w/ connecting pipe though. help much appreciated, thanks guys.

From what I've read on here, the Gintani Race's the loudest mufflers for an e9x M3. I'm sure others that have heard both in person can chime in as well. Although, I've heard a full Gintani race + X-pipe (no cats/resonators) in person & that thang's LOUD!!! Wasn't really feeling it since it's more of a domestic v8 rumble compared to an F1 high-pitched sound (Meisterschaft). Not sure about Remus Race besides it being loud also.

lol, I think the Gintani Sport is even louder than the Remus Race. Based off of my Remus Race, my friend's Gintani Race, and my other friend's Gintani Sport, mixing it in with my poor memory and it having been a long time since I heard the Gintani exhausts, I think it's something like....
Remus Sport, quiet. Remus Race, kinda loud. Gintani Sport, loud. Gintani Race, LOUD. Personally, I think the Remus Race and Gintani Sport sound really good. The Gintani Race is a bit too loud for my own personal tastes. |

Hey did somebody call on me for exhaust sound
Quote:
I will put it to you like this, I was at cars and coffee event in Plano Texas and I had Remus Race exhaust on my E92 M3 with AA catless X-pipe Here is a special NOTE: I also have a AA tune with launch control because my M3 is 6MT so if I am sitting still reving on the gas my RPM is going to stop at 4000 to 4500 RPM. my car had a high pitch sounding loud . There was another member at Cars and Coffee with me his name is Nawaaz he has a E90 M3 with full Gintani Race exhaust and Gintani catless X-pipe set up his car was loud a deep base throaty type sound and he could rev to 8300rpm+ red line and I could not due to my type of tune with launch control but my Remus Race exhaust at 4000 to 4500 high pitch sound was as loud as his exhaust at 8300+ RPM we even had the croud at cars and coffee decide who exhaust was louder. and you know who won me and there is a video Now why do I have Gintani Race exhaust now its because I like the deep base throaty type sound. I like the way it goes good with my Murdered out look. I like the size of the exhaust pipes oh and not to mention the proven HP gains. I still miss the Remus Race Exhaust sometimes but I'm still happy either way they both are really good exhaust systems. Take a look at the Cars and Coffee You Tube video for the exhaust comparison 4:09

OP
I have a remus race. Have heard others..... I don't know why others rave so much about Gintani on the board, its just loud, and not refined.
My remus race has a deep exhaust note, unheard in other systems. I thought about an x-pipe. But it was just a thought, the remus race is loud enough, and paired up with an x-pipe you will be heard from 5 blocks away. Go with Remus! The sound is intoxicating, and you just cant beat the price. |

Never heard the Gintani but have installed Remus Race many times and also with AA X-Pipe with HFC's.
Here's a video of Remus Race with AA Xpipe/HFC's: |

remus race is basically a car without mufflers at 4k+
but I'm pretty damn sure gintani is even louder..if that's possible because I remember side to side a gintani sport was louder than a remus race

I think certain mufflers change their tone drastically when adding a full xpipe. I know both eisenmanns and the Remus race sound totally different with an xpipe compared to just the mufflers themselves. I feel the Remus n eisenmann drone/tone was engineered to be just by themselves where mufflers like gintanis race or sport sound the same just more.
I'd just double check n make sure you like the sound the Remus race/xpipe combo sounds. I heard fabspeed xpipe and aa catless xpipe with Remus race and it sounded like ass IMO. Way too much rasp, like the car is farting really loud. If you want the higher pitch sound then you'll need an xpipe, as any axle back only changes tone and after like 4k rpm the sound kind of dies off. If i knew this earlier I wouldve just shopped for a full exhaust. PM me if you need info on exhaust setup combos, I heard/owned a few
