The story behind your Log-in name...

This is another one of those corny share-your-info threads, but please bear with me.
I have seen many different members in here with creative names and some not so creative names. I was just wondering how most of you got your E90post names.

I'll start:
thd13- my initials followed by my old lacrosse number. I am one of those not so creative people.

Please share!

Mine is a childhood nickname, loosely based on first/last name.

I'm not creative either!

But mine does qualify under the "corny" heading.

I live in Costa Mesa, and my name is Dave. Hence, "CMD". But the primary reason I decided to use the tag is I thought the symetrical letter in the middle and the round letters on the outside made it look good. Other than that, I wasn't trying to be creative and "cool."

Given nickname from Jr. High 1972 = "Froggy" from my near teen years when my boyish looks and deep voice did not match (think little frog with a deep voice--RIBBIT!). Froggy, froggie, frogman were already taken, so I added KS (for Kansas where I lived) as a prefix.

Compos Mentis as opposed to Non Compos Mentis, since I was the opposition on a political board. It was a play on words, since liberalism tends towards irrationality. Non Compos Mentis means insane.
I also found that Compos Mentis is a heavy metal band! Cool.

I’m originally from Zimbabwe and a Zimbabwean is sometimes known as a Zimbo. So I took that and added my first and last initials.

I know, it’s nothing too creative.

It was an old login name I had for many many years and it just sort of stuck with me. The first letter is a code letter (don't how they came up with it), followed by the first 3 letters of my last name, and then a sequential three-digit number.

Mine is pretty stupid, it's from back in 2000, also when raving was popular. so here goes, db stands for drum&bass cuz i am a jungle, break beats freak, 17 was my pager code back when i still had a pager and k was for 2000 because that's when i created the alias for other forums at the time. i'm too lazy now to think of something else clever
