I took delivery of a varis upper skirt today. I was already happy because I found one in the states, avoiding the 4 month wait.I was excited, very excited, until.... ....I opened the box to see it in a 2x2 weave. My undertray is 1x1. FML. I had no idea they could be ordered both ways. Off to find a 1x1 upper |

Tbone. Your car is SICK! Not sure how I've managed to not chime in on this thread. Love the attention to detail. Probably because I think the exact same way. Pay to get exactly what you want, even if its for something tiny.
Loved the BBS wheels. Did you get rid of them? That fitment was PERFECT. Have only seen a handful of cars with fitment that precise. Loved the Challenge Race Diffuser. But that Varis piece is baller status. Not sure how anyone would fulfill an order with mismatching weaves on the top and bottom tray. That sucks. Amazing build !!! But get a full fledged photo shoot - the cell phone shots don't do your car justice. Next Mod? - esquire

The vendor didn't fulfill the order wrong. I bought the undertray from a local guy parting out. He wasn't running the upper piece, so I ordered that new from a vendor. As it turns out, neither the vendor nor I knew it could be ordered 1x1 or 2x2. The vendor checked with his distributor, who also didn't offer the vendor a choice of 1x1 or 2x2. My guess is the distributor had the 2x2 on his shelf, couldn't sell it since the 1x1 is probably the more preferred weave to match the CF roof, and so just sold that to the vendor, happy to be ridding himself of deadstock. Luckily for me, the vendor took responsibility, apologized, and accepted a full refund, shipping included. There were no excuses or run around. It was definitely handled properly by the vendor. As far as my next mod, I'm going to replace my arkym front lip with a mode carbon. Waiting for that to arrive. Then I'll go for a photoshoot. Any recommended norcal photographers, please share! |

Glad to here the vendor didn't give you any of the typical friction about it. Sounds like a good vendor. Sent you a PM RE: a photographer.

Got it bro Yes good vendor: Carrozzzeria. They're a forum sponsor. I worked with Jesse. As I'm sure most would agree, aggressive pricing is nice, but it's the service, especially the service offered when there are problems that will bring clients back. It was my 1st experience with them, and won't be my last.
