A handful of the Rennlist guys run the 335 RA1 with the NT01 instead of the 315/30/18 due to a higher sidewall and the fact the nannies don't go nuts with a much shorter diameter tire height like the 315/30/18 (stock rear tire is 325/30/19). Yes, I still have the nannies on at all times.
Are you driving the NT-01s on the street? Just curious, I know some do. I've run several sets of the NT-01s and love them, but have dedicated track wheels and would not consider driving to the track on them (or grocery store, mine is DD), especially in the rain.

OP's original question relates to a group of dual-purpose street/track tires. Unfortunately, they're often a failed compromise: adequate but not real great for either application. We're blessed with a backseat and trunk in our E9xs that can easily transport 4 large track tires so no excuse not to have the best of both worlds. ...now, the Porsche guys can't do that, unless they trailer it!

The only street driving that I'm doing on the NT01s & RA1s is driving to and from the track. I take them off and put on 19 inch wheels that have RE11s on them for the majority of my street driving. Yeah, we Porsche guys have no room for 4 spare wheels in the car...

I do love the coo'ing sound it makes when they're brand new. That's enough reason for me to buy them...
Worst tire? It's faster than the A048, R888 and RA1. The RA1 has been around forever and also has a great slip angle/tractive force curve.
I think he was being facetious, or tongue in cheek, not so much factual. Ahhh...the idiosyncrasies of text communication
It's the worst ever. In the history of mankind and cavemen.
