How to Remove Center Console Rear Ashtray in E90?

Q: I have items #10 & #11 in the diagram above. I want to replace it with items #8 & #9. How do I go about removing the ashtray?

On an E92 the trim pops out and you unscrew it from the back of the trim I'd imagine BMW used the same idea
