No worrys, BMWs run for a long time. Don't let these guys get to you. 50K is nothing on a BMW M3 or otherwise.

Have fun with you new car.

I completely agree with this.

Show me!

Burned the first tank of gas yesterday. Had a great drive through Joshua Tree National Park.

The mileage indicator has improved. 19.4 is as high as it got.

Shot of the hand control us wheelchair users use.

Pic shows extended leather on door panel.

Trying to get a good pic of the carbon leather interior trim.

With my experience there are plenty of aftermarket warranty out there some are good and they pay, but most will make it hard to claim that no shop wants to deal with them.

To give you a bad example, we had a frontier came through with leaking front differential. Upon tear down and inspection we found that the diff carrier bearing housing bore was too big, and let the diff wobble, causing the seal to leak oil. Warranty did not cover it due to that, in their opionion the case is not broken because it does not have a crack or broken in pieces. They would cover the seal it that was the cause, so they say. Why Im telling you this?
Do your research on your warranty company. Dont get offended when another mention its aftermarket. If you can it better to buy a cpo even if its more money, and if you cant afford to pay another $5-$10k then maybe you cant afford the car in the long run.
Thanks Edjay,

I'm fortunate with my mechanic. We've been friends since we were 12. From what I can find, a new transmission is about $9700 on RealOEM. The one in my 328 xi would cost $6k. I'm prepared to fix it, like any other car I have.
From What it sounds like you already covered all 4corners... Just go buy it. And drive it.

Thanks kwike92. 'all 4corners'

It awesome. Just no describing it.

Compared to my 328xi: the steering is a lot lighter than the awd, a lot better handling goes without saying. In the awd I had to muscle it compared to the M. There's a lot less steering wheel effort required to get it through a series of tight turns.

I'm getting to know the different sounds it makes. Diff, trans, etc..
