I saw a 1M today..

1. Its cute....
2. It reminds me of a bully in 4th grade... strong with no real heart...

Now onto the real news. It looks really amazing and stands out a lot. It does sound nice but its seriously a 1 series on steroids, that is the only legit way to put it. What to say... Its body lines are nice but it looks like it could be stretched a bit, but then that would take away from the e92 m3. So in all, it looks like a bulldog when its really a lab on steroids.

This car is exactly between a e92 m3 and 335i...in my opinion...

I also saw a LFA that same day at the track....

I disagree 100% with you on the 1 M. It's one hell of a car. Great little performer and will be regarded as a true ///M car soon enough. The engine isn't my favorite, but the rest of the car is great. If I didn't need my M3's four doors, I was going to order a 1 M.

The engine doesn't make it a bad car. It puts up impressive performance numbers and from what everyone has been saying is truly a fun car to drive.

Give it a little bit more credit.

I saw it at NYIAS and it's definitely a head-turner in any color. It doesn't look like your average car and people can tell that it's a special car even if they dont know cars.

I got to drive a 1M and I was impressed with how well it handled and the engine is amazing. I am by no means saying it compares to my E90 M3 but it was fun to drive!

I was hating on the car pretty hard until i saw it person. When you see it in person I think most would agree it looks "Purposeful". That is the best description I can give the 1M. It looks its part.

Like all 1 series it looks like it's sagging in the middle to me. Something about that body line under the doors. I saw it at NY show too. Front bumper is kinda weird. It's ok though looks aggressive. I'm sure it's super fun to drive.

Exactly. It really is a true form follows function kind of thing. Okay, so beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but when the car is so functional, you can't deny it as a true ///M sports car...

Looks great.

And on certain tracks it will lap quicker than a M3.
