Opinions on fuel additives with new M3?

I noticed BMW has one and I have used Techron in previous cars but my dealership had no info on the new M3. Anyone out there with any opinions and/or facts for yeah or nay?

Snake-oil, stay away it will foul your spark plugs. If detected by BMW if could have an impact on warranty.

Don't use any fuel additives if you can help it. They are all bogus. There is no amount of measurable results from any of them.

Fantastic information. My only remaining question is what about cleaning properties of some of the additives? We know recommended Top Tier gas stations apparently add cleaning properties that manufacturers recommend. Would these products substitute in the markets where we dont have a lot of the top tier suppliers?

The additives definitely help clean the fuel system, but anyone that thinks they are somehow going to add more power other than increasing fuel spray by cleaning injectors is mistaken...

check out the fifth gear video for different types of fuel: higher octan delivers you more bhp, i guess this is the best way to get easy power.
