Headlights Aimed too Low!!! how to adjust??
As i drive through even flat roads the headlight do not light up the curb more than 30' or so ahead of me... i have adjusted all my past cars to illuminate further ahead yet still below the trunk lid of cars ahead and it makes all the difference in the world...
I looked at the light and the obvious adjustment on the top of the headlight seems to do nothing as i have turned it a full rotations and back with no movement... so im lookin for a "HOW TO" adjust the headlamp.. anyone??? ********* It is the adjustment on the headlamp. The Knob next to the removable cover.. A full rotation moves it slightly, unlike past cars ive done.. and i have adjusted up by putting tape on the wall of my garage and raising each one evenly above the tape and then testing it out on the roads till i liked the height... ********* Last edited by rawedge2; 03-28-2008 at 07:10 PM.. |

There is a how-to for this on E90Post I believe. Granted, its for the regular 3 series, but you could check it out and see if the headlights adjust the same way.

Great - your gonna be my favorite kind of driver - the one who's lights shine right into my eyes and blind me as I drive past you driving the other direction...
Get a pro to do it. The life you save may be your own. |

rldzhao "there is a nob (next to the removeable cover) on top of each headlight which you can turn using a philips screw driver to adjust the height"
