Akrapovic Evolution Installed
Last Saturday I and the other 3 E9X M3 owners installed Akrapovic Evolution together. It took around 2 hours for just one car installation.
Frankly speaking, in the car it is louder than what I expect but I like the tone. Hopefully, I won't get any complaint from my neighbors. However, I think Akra Evo gives my M3 a new life |

Very very nice; best exhaust on the market for E9X M3, IMO.
Have you noticed louder intake noise/rattle between 3000-4000 rpm, especially on higher gears once you step on the throttle? |

Can you describe the noise/rattle you heard between 3000-4000 rpm? I am not so sensitive to the noise from intake but only the rattle in my console. When my friend tested my car, he did heard some special noise from the engine hood.

Actually, I can't describe the noise, I don't know the exact words BUT it makes a loud intake roar between 3000-4000 rpm and once you pass 4000, the roar smoothens. This is very obvious. Just step on the throttle in 6th gear below 3000 rpm and listen the noise coming from the engine compartment. This noise is much louder with an aftermarket filter.

I don't mind it but wonder why it seems to be more prevalent with the evo. |

Those tips stick out much further than mine do on my coupe.
I originally was shipped the sedan version (which was too short) I wonder if you might have gotten the coupe version? Are your tips on all the way or did you pull them out on purpose? Minor detail |
