talked to my instructor about the earth and groundwater tides and guess what.... he made an analysis that came close to the Chinese Journal of Geophysics calculation in 2009. the force that the moon applies to the earth...



.006 lbs with his calculations not including the sun's gravity or .06% more including the sun's gravity with the Chinese Journal Geophysics.... thats almost like nothing...


i feel like an idiot for not following my logical guts on this one. dont just believe what they say without understanding the math.

this was asked as an extra credit question in our exam and i disputed the moon in my exam but got thrown off two days after when i saw the video...

anyone wants to see the calculations i might be able to PM with the promise of not publishing it as my instructor writes books on seismic. its just rights issues.
