LCI

after a days worth of searching online and searching these forums i have found many posts regarding LCI lighting and such... I understand the definition as life cycle impulse, however, I dont know how to determine if my car has LCI lighting or not...

I realize there are hundreds of threads discussing LCI lighting but I cant seem to find out whether I have LCI's or not. I just got back into a bmw after a 5 year break so I am a little out of the loop here.

I drive a 2009 e90 m3 - anyone know how I can figure out whether I have LCI or not? Looking at buying upgraded LED angel eyes and don't know what I am trying to buy because there seemed to be a difference of whether i was LCI or not.

any help is appreciated... any claims of a repost I would gladly take if you can direct me to the thread explaining my question.

according to what I found - 2008+ e90 m3's are LCI equipped? can anyone confirm this?

Thanks all.

I just recently got a 2008 M3. I don't know if my lights are LCI or not I guess maybe ask a dealer. I am interested in getting the Angel Eyes for my car. Where is good place to look for them?

Yes, the E90 LCI occured for the 2009 model year.

However, keep in mind that the M3 headlights did not change with the LCI. Only the tail lights changed. Therefore, as far as I know, there should be no difference in angel eyes for all years (and all body styles, for that matter) of M3. And in fact, the M3 headlights on all M3s are the same as those found on the pre-LCI E92/E93 3 series. So don't buy E90/E91 3 series headllights or angel eyes, LCI or otherwise.

Simple answer for you: your headlights are same as the latest E90/92/93 M3. No change was made to the headlights' angel eyes since introduction.

I appreciate all the heads up on this stuff from everyone! Thank you for the guidance!

maybe my thread should also be asking what would be the preferred LED angel eye kit? is LED better than the HID? Price isnt really the biggest concern, fitment (plug/play), color (white or blue), and brightness/look of the light.
