At that salt flats shoot, I actually tried out a motorized timelapse rig. I got 3 different shots and they look very nice. They're massive Camera Raw sequences and they wake a while to dial in and also to render, but I'm looking forward to sharing those when I can get to them in the next couple weeks.

This shot is actually 1 frame of 620 from a 22 Megapixel per frame mototized motion timelapse. I have 3 different shots and I've almost got them done.. but for now here's a teaser.

This image is less than 1/4th of the original resolution! 2048x1024!

I used a motorized slider from DynamicPerception.com with a Canon 5dMII.

It allows you to shoot timelpase, but also introduce some motion. So the end result are really high quality individual pics that can be combined into a very high resolution smooth video.

Much better quality than shooting in video mode in the camera, a lot more options for resizing, zooming, cropping, color, etc... AND the timelapse cloud movement and just the overall effect of the timelapse gives the shot a really unique look.

Thanks for bumping. I think about your car every time I wash my wheels. These are going to be my mid-car crisis wheels when I start to get bored with my current set-up. Did you need to purchase camber plates or max out camber. Also, to clarify, you are running 255/305 tire set-up?

Did not need to purchase camber plates.... yes 255 /305.

Wheels are going to be for sale in a week or two.

LMK if anyone is interested. I don't think there are many sets of the 20's out there.....

The wheels are much sexier in person. The finish is the best part. Very unique, different and still classy. No curb rash etc.

Nothing at all wrong with the wheels just want to mix things up. I realize I may regret selling them!!
