I can get out of my X5 lease and into an 011 E92 M3 (loaded) by cutting a check for $5k and into the M3 for a dollar more a month...
My wife would kill me..I go through cars like some through 6 packs... DAMN!

Do like me just get the car never-mind the wife, asking for forgiveness (after you got your car) is much easier then asking for permission to get the car ... I'm sure you know what I mean

Buy her some new shoes. That usually does the trick for distracting them

If you're honest with yourself, probably yes . At least not all the time, so depends when you're asked . All I know is after 22+ years myself, my definition of 'happily married' is different now.. and that's okay; otherwise you never stop going thru wives .

Stop ! Don't trade it in do what I did with a Rover, get it on Lease Trader for somewhere about $120 bucks you can post your car, pre qualified buyers will most likely contact if your car has low miles and the payment is appealing to buyer. Check it out.

Here's my wife and I over the last several years, starting when I was in college (Dec 05 or so): 06 Civic Si (8 months) traded 07 Saab 93 (1 year) traded <-- her car, btw 02 RXS-S (1 year) private sale 08 Civic Si (1 year) traded 09 Accord V6 Coupe (1 year) traded 10 Mustang GT (14 months) private sale 11 M3 (Current) She has a company car (the Saab was her last car) now, so cars now are mine. Luckily she supports my habit...

For an effective 140 more per month (assuming you lease the m3 for 36 months) I'd say that adds up.
Since you change cars frequently leasing is not the way to go for you. Instead, get financing with a balloon payment. This is like a lease but with much more flexibility. |

On a different but somewhat related note, I was driving today with my teenage daughter in the seat beside me and the windows down. Some guy in the parking lot yells out "Nice Car". My daughter's response to me ....."God, like you need any more encouragement!"
