Dear Board,

First of all I want you guys to understand that we do appreciate the business and we are excited that you are all going to be using AA SSK on your New M's.

As far as the group buy is concerned Active Autowerke does not allow Group Buys. Unfortunately this one took place against our approval. We cannot allow group buys for the simple fact that we have hundreds of dealers worldwide who carry our products and group buys create problems.

You the customers were completely unaware of all this so there is no way I am going to "punish" you for a vendors error. We do understand that pricing is sometimes an important criteria when purchasing a product but please consider other elements of the purchase process IE: product knowledge, inventory, support, and anything else that comes to mind.

The group buy did end yesterday as per my instructions and everyone who participated will receive their product. I hope you all understand my reasoning from a business standpoint.

seems like a good idea to me to get people to actually buy these overpriced products. annoying that these companies try to pretend like their prices are based on anything other than knowledge of the fact that M3 owners can likely afford to pay more for products that require no more research or development than for any other car. if you look at any car, the highest correlation to price of aftermarket parts is the price of the car itself, not the complexity of the product or of car's components. if not for the group buy, a lot of people would have waited for other products to come out. in fact, even though I signed up for the group buy, I'm now going to wait and see if anyone comes out with something better (or cheaper, since I've seen no reason to believe this product is better than any other that will be offered).

anyone receive theirs, just wondering b/c I got a usps "We missed you ticket" and I'm not expecting anything other then the AASSK and my air filter but that shipped out today...just wondering b/c I won't be able to pick up what ever it is until Tuesday...
