Best Tires for E92 M3 ?

Hey all. I'm ready for my second set of tires on my E92 ( 19 inch wheels ). The Michelin Pilot Sports were excellent, but I'm wondering if there is something that will work even better. I remember putting Pirelli PZeros on my E46 and they were great. Any opinions????

I note that the E92 M3 GTS runs w/ Conti tires. Read some good reviews.

Michelin has releashed the Pilot Sport 3 but it does not have the rear dimension for BMW M3 E92 18'' !! 265/40/18''

Would this set up work with a stock E92 M3? Also for any autocross racers would this set up take me out of the AS category?

Pilot Super Sports

I had the 2 sets of RE-11's, and am now on PSS's.

Better than the RE-11's on the road, and on the track - the track was a big surprise for me!

Dang this thread was dug up!

I would agree with the Pilot Super Sport PSS! Car and Driver also agrees with me crowning it the "Monsters of Grip" Winner:

The PSS is my choice for a great all around tire..

I had the Pzeros they are quite noisy, wear too quickly, and are super expensive. Not worth it IMO

If you dont care too much about wet handling the Yokohama Advan Nevoa 08 are supposed to have exceptional dry handling (not great in the wet)

I've tried the Conti 3's and PZero's, neither are as good as the PSS...it's a phenomenal tire.

Been running Hankook R-S3 for over 2 years. Competitors have yet to come out with a faster street tire.

The Dunlop Star Spec's replacement has just been announed and will be available next year. Curious to see how that one does!

PSS for street use.

RS3 or AD08 for street-track use. These tires give up some wet performance compared to the PSS but are significantly better than any R-comp (with "tread" patterns; e.g., PSC, R888, NT01) in the wet.
