Down over 4% today while the rest of the markest is up/even. What is going on here?

No, I didn't say any of that.

However for the past 10 days or so it has been moving with the market. Today is the first day it is doing something drastically different.

I guess you don't have any real insight.

Wouldnt look into it too much. I am sure you searched for some articles, as did I, didnt find anything relevant. Like I said, wouldn't look too much into the movement for today, the markets are skittish, nothing really makes a whole lot of sense right now. Do you own the stock? If so, do you have a target for that stock? Cant make any recommendation or add any insight, sorry.

The way you prefaced your question let me to think nothing else...the market is up, why isn't BMW? You're failing to mention which market, and are assuming that 10 days to be a representative trend...

Bloomberg "insight" that "concern escalated that the global economy is slowing and as the leaders of the euro area failed to restore investor confidence" as to why the DAX has been declining. Take that as far as you want to. It's a price movement, it happens.
