1st time posting and soon to be a BMW owner once again after 6 years.

I tried posting a dedicated thread but the site is not allowing me so I am posting my question here:


Can anyone let me know if I am getting a good deal on the following:

2011 BMW M3 (May 2011 original in-service date)

- Space Gray with black interior
- CPO until May 2017 or 100,000 miles
- 42,606 miles
- DCT
- Competition package w/CF roof
- Premium 2 package
- Enhanced Sound
- Convenience Package
- Satellite radio

- Front and Rear brakes replaced at 35,000 miles
- Service records look good

Price- $42,750

It is an out of state BMW dealer so I would be purchasing the car without seeing it in person but pictures look good and it is a CPO so I assume it has to be in decent shape. What does everyone think?

Don't assume CPO= prevent shape. I passed on a 2013 CPO e92 M3 with competition package and 12,000 miles for $42k because after driving 6 hours to the dealer to buy it I immediately noticed wheels were repainted (poorly), body panels (plural) had been replaced (poorly aligned), and it smelled musty inside.

Paid $44,500. Maybe I could've gotten it for a couple grand cheaper, but I was okay with the price at the time, and it has been an amazing 11 months of ownership.

AW with Red and black Interior. CF Trim, CF hood, Manual, Comp package and fully Loaded with all the packages. ALso the car come with CF Performance spoiler as well.
I paid 53k before tax. After tax was like 57k. I don't know if i pay too much for the car but i got what i wanted which is the CF trim, CF roof, Red/black interior, and AW exterior. I been looking for this exact set up for 3 months and finally found it with 100% match. Plus I am able to get 1.9% interest rate for 72 terms.

Good deal or Bad deal?

One previous owner with all records from bmw.
The car is in perfect condition but all 4 tires need to be changed.
Bought for 27k CAD or roughly 20.6k USD
