H&R Spring + E36 bump stops?
Hi I'm looking to lower my car and decided on the H&R springs. Now i just found out that there are two different types of H&R springs one being a sport and another being a race or sports plus. what are the differences and will I even notice it.
Also I am hearing that you should buy the e36 bump stops what will this do for me? |

The difference will be on the height. Sports (which I have), lowers the M3 1.0" on the front and 0.6" on the rear. On the race is a little more aggressive, but I don't know by how much.

The "Sport" and "Race" for the E9x M car's do not have a difference in height. The race version, which used to be called the version 2's, are slightly stiffer.
For your 2008 M3, I would recommend you stick with the original "sport" version and do the bump stops 100%.

are these bump stops necessary for DD? If so, where can I find them to purchase??

I put them on mine when I did my H&R. You just get them from your local dealer or use McKennaBMW here on the forum.
