/FACEPALM curbed a Volk

So today I was in West Hollywood, land of shitty curbs and potholes, and I just barely curbed one of my Volk G2's. It's not bad, about 1/3 to 1/2 an inch nick along the very edge of the lip.

Can these rims be repaired the same way most other rims can? I assume yes. AFAIK wheel guys like Son Tran do a little bit of grinding and blending to smooth out the damage.

I'm so pissed that this happened. When I moved out of W. Hollywood like the -first- thing I did was get a set of rims, because I didn't have to worry about messing them up. Then what happens the one time I go back?

You should be dragged out of your car and beaten in the middle of the street RODNEY KING STYLE, for damaging these beautiful rims!

lol..j/k

Yes the wheel can be repaired, although the finish will be a little tricky.

And yes, Son Tran is a wheer repair god in socal. I would hit him up today to set up an appointment asap.

Should be able to be fixed no issue. Only issue I have heard with fixing Volks is matching the clear coat on the lips of the GT series wheels.
