And u posted this in the wrong section... This is for complete cars for sale. There is a section for engine parts.
Hopefully a moderator will move it. |

Just so you guys know you can make well over 300 naturally aspirated wheel horsepower on an s2000 engine and still run it on 93 octane pump gas. (s2000 engines can produce up to 400 wheels horsepower when using a 2.4L bottom end and race gas).
the s65 v8 weighs in at 450 lbs - transmission weight (not sure) the s2000 engine weighs in at 326 lbs - transmission is about 105 lbs I agree that this is an odd thing to do and i cant imagine the amount of wiring talent needed to make this work correctly (if it is possible), with that being said, an s2000 engine is definitely a lighter platform to begin with and can produce quite a bit of power naturally aspirated and a ton of power using forced induction. To each his own I guess... I personally would never do it. Maybe he wants to run the car in a class that will only allow 4 cylinders or some kind of restriction on displacement Either way good luck with the sale....

Ok.
So let's help u sell this engine. Can you post the VIN for the donor car? Can you post video of the engine running in the car? Was the donor car crashed? If so, can u provide pics of the accident damage? Which transmission? Thanks |

I really am looking for an engine but this guy tells me the dealership couldn't find the vin. Is this a stolen motor? or is this a kind-nigerian-prince-reclaiming-his-riches-scam for 8k? This guy can't even type a sentence properly.
