I think it would look much better that way, but props for being different
Reflectors and headlight washers shouldnt even b on that bumper. The less red accent the better it will look, like outer part of the grills, the gills, mirrors r good, and other little stuff mayb. Like something on the glass. But all the liitle things r tacky.

The sponsorship logos and decals are only on the car for shows. I wouldn't leave those logos on there for a DD.

most people are concerned about your taste in accents rather than the actual logos and stickers.

Referencing the sponsorship decals when the whole car looks like it does, is like worrying about stubbing your toe when your in a body cast.

As if people didn't like M3 drivers already.. to each his own, if you love it, more power to you.. but as far as representing the entire forum, tightie would have probably been the most logical choice.. at least that i can think of off the top of my head.. oh and a carbon roof should have been on that car without a doubt.. esp if your going to be testing it vs a c63 ON TELEVISION.. damn

Should have gone a bit more subtle with the red accents.

such as:

Paint the grill slates black but keep the outer rings red
Keep the reflectors and headlight washer the body's color.
Tint the side blinkers
Mirrors in 1 color. either red or the body's color

i would like to see how the rear looks.

Sorry pal, I dont need a representative. Especially one with orange wheels and decals.

There are some people here (and probably not between the ages of 16 and 21 & from SoCal) who actually like the way the M3 looks from the factory. This whole GT-3 ripp-off stunt that some play just looks retarded.

Because marketing sells!

You too are in the rarer breed then. Most will claim getting an E92 without a CF roof is a mistake. (even though thats what I did)

as others have said... think about how much money people spend to install an aftermarket CF roof on their car... and we can get a car with one stock from the factory.

Maybe the CF roof compared to a regular steel roof doesn't save that much weight, but a CF roof vs a moonroof is def a pretty big difference.

It does save a little weight yes, but its importance as far as the competition being discussed in this thread goes is miniscule at best. Driving ability is what's really important, and will easily make up for few extra pounds of weight. It sounds to me like the OP knows how to drive and if comments left in the other thread are to be believed it appears that he did very well in the competition (won 2 of 3 events). IMHO the OP deserves props from all of us, and even taking into account differences in taste, I think some of the comments being directed toward the OP in this thread are pretty harsh. Just my 2 cents though.

initial comment was a bit harsh...apologies - very unpro of me

GT3RS colour scheme concept was good start but the red accents went over board, definitely tone down on the red - take out red on the kidney grills and headlight washer jets. That should make it work...
