17 wheel help

Swapping my 19s for some 17x10 et 25. Want to run 275/40r 17. Wondering if these will fit all around and if the 17s will allow for a BBK down the road.. Any help is appreciated.. I have 08 m3 coupe

It should work. A few members have done it.

I always remember these photos:

I will be doing this exact setup, but with RA1s, next year.

You can run ST40 at all 4 corners but not ST60 up front if you go to 17's.

I run a similar setup. Apex ARC8 17x9.5 et35 and a 12mm spacer. Clears a Stoptech ST40/355mm BBK.

i run 17x10.5 275 40 square, fits fine. abit of rubbing on the suspension on the front even with a 5mm spacer. Maybe 10 inch will be fine.

the stock brakes barely clear the barrel. I think the only possible bbk upgrade would be the stoptech or the essex 355 kit.

You can find more street tires with an 18" rim which means nothing for a track setup.

Extra weight in the car from the cash that you save.

I guess the ride will be a tad softer with 17s but it felt the same to me.
