This should work with the amount of camber you have dialed in front, as one of our customers is running 295/30/18 Ventus TDs on squared 18x10.5" ET27 with a 5mm spacer in the front along with his JRZ RS Pros and approximately -3.8 degrees of camber. Here is a photo of that car:

Unfortunately we have not had the chance to test fit this. The OEM brakes of the 7-series may have clearance issues, but we will try to confirm as soon as we can get a test vehicle.

For street and HPDE use in the 18"x10"et25 square fitment, what are the advantages and disadvantages of the EC-7, ARC-8, and ARC-8 concave? This would be on a stock suspension competition package e90 M3, with stock brakes to start with and maybe a 355mm Stoptech ST40 front BBK in the future.

Thanks!

In the 18x10" ET25 fitment, the ARC-8's are the concave versions due to the width and offset of the wheel, and the EC-7's are Profile 3 which are the most concave version as well. The 18x10" ET25 wheels combined with a 275/35/18 tire is the most popular choice for the e9x M3 with OEM ZCP suspension. The EC-7's are a more modern style of wheel, designed with endurance racing in mind, and provides better brake clearance for those that are looking to upgrade to the 6-piston 380mm Brembo BBK on their M3's. Otherwise, the ARC-8's are compatible with all smaller BBKs and are slightly lighter over all, hence why they are a top contender for HPDE use for many enthusiasts.

Sending you a PM! The EC-7's take the OEM BMW Centercaps (70mm) which are the standard roundels on your OEM wheels.

Do you need extended bolts to run the EC7s without spacers? Thanks.

The EC-7's are compatible with the OEM length lug bolts if there are not any spacers used with the wheels.

That is what I thought. Even did a calculation to see how many threads were engaged. Some guy at the tire shop was telling me otherwise and I disagreed. Thanks.

Gloss Black is a special finish only available exclusively through Bimmerworld. I can send you a quote for any of the other finishes available through us, such as Race Silver, Anthracite, and Satin Black.

I am looking at a set of staggered EC-7 18x10 et25 and 18x11 et25.

I want to use these with Toyo R888 in 275/35/18 and 295/30/18. My goal is to maximize rear wheel traction and I saw in an old post of yours that with some fender work 305/35/18 is possible. Could you comment on what type of work is it (how involved and costly) and whether you know of a place in Houston who can do something like that?

Please pm me price, stock availability on Antracite color.

Thank you

We have definitely tested the 18x10" ET25 and 18x11" ET25 with the 275/35/18 and 295/30/18 Toyo R888's, but have not tested the 305/30/18 ourselves. We have heard of customers modifying their rear fenders and adding in negative camber in order to fit the 305/30/18 sized tire, but we do not know the specifics as what's needed to be done past that. We do not know any dealers in Houston specifically, but one of our dealers is Texas Track Works in Fort Worth that works with many race cars.

I really wish APEX were TUV approved, I would buy a second set and all the Germans over here would buy them for the track i promise that bc when I go the Nurburgring thats all they tell me since Im American and dont need TUV until August....Just a suggestion for a huge market over here....other than that best priced, weight, and performance wheel IMO
