E90 vs. E92

Other than the fact that the E90 has 4 doors and the marginal weight difference, are there any other differences mechanically between the two? Say the steering ratio? Thanks

I did search but apparently I couldn't find any information on any mechanical differences.

+1, I would love to know whether with the CF roof does the coupe truly have a lower center of gravity and thus have slight better performance through the twisties / the track.

It truly has a lower center of gravity but only a real test between two coupes and a skilled driver is going to be able to tell, if at all. However, I dont expect to see too many sunroofs at the track....

Im more interested in if in fact the steering is the same. I test drove a coupe and loved it! I would also like to know if the handling is very similar.

E90 tails and moonroof FTL.

Belt Butler FTW (unless the E90 has this also).

I've searched but have not found any info on steering ratio. Remember that both models have the variable ration steering.

I did confirm that driveline ratios are the same. The sedan is about 25 lbs heavier, but don't know in which configuration. It's also roomier inside. I don't know about the trunk; I would think that is is smaller since the cabin is bigger and the sedan on a whole is shorter than the coupe.

Just found more info. I take this with a grain of salt as I've seen slighty different numbers. The coupe data comes from Edmunds, sedan comes from Motor Trend.

Steering ratio: 12.5:1 for both (looks like the same)
Turning circle: 38.4 ft coupe/36.1 ft sedan (typo? s/b same considering same wheelbase)
Cargo: 11.1 cu ft coupe/12 cu ft sedan (sedan has more?)

i heard its actually CF reinforced plastic.

probably cars are pretty much the same, with difference felt only by some testers like STIG or whatnot.
